What are the side effects of HCG Use?

Dangers include blood clots, male breast growth, death

Like any drug, HCG can have side effects, some of which may be life threatening. While HCG is used as a fertility treatment and diet drug, it may cause effects that are unwanted, from acne and mood changes to blood clots, hair loss, and arterial thromboembolisms. Some other unwanted side effects can include the production of extra eggs in women, which can result in multiple pregnancies. Also, because hcg mimics pregnancy, some of the same symptoms may be experienced. In men, prostate enlargement may be experienced, which creates problems of its own.
